To be considered for entry into Hope Alive candidates must:
1. Complete and submit an entrance application which includes a background check release form
2. Be interviewed by a designated Hope Alive Staff member
3. Be over the age of 18 and preference is given to those over 25
4. Show a sincere desire to commit to change
5. Be able to perform physical labor as assigned
6. DO NOT require detox services
7. DO NOT have any sexual and/or violent offenses
8. Are NOT REQUIRED or under a court order to complete drug and alcohol rehabilitation
9. NO outstanding warrants
10. Are NOT REQUIRED to take prescription narcotics or other substances that may be abused while in the program
Director and/or staff may make suggestions and/or exceptions to any of the above to the board chairman/board members as needed.
